AUSTRALIAN model maker Trax has branched out, moving from its traditional Australian car base for its models into something very different and with a new name as well.

This new line, dubbed the Exotix collection, features the Exoto Racing Legends Series, 1:18-scale models with more than 160 individual parts including instruments, seatbelts, disc brakes, braided engine hoses, carburettors, steering, period tyre tread patterns and detailed graphics.

Cars available include a number of Formula One racers through the years, including Lotus, Ferrari, Williams and Renault, along with Le Mans-style sports-racing cars from Porsche, Ford, Jaguar, Sauber-Mercedes, Shelby and Chevrolet.
